Naked Boys Singing is just that--10 naked guys singing and dancing--everything about it is 'cute'--the boys are cute, their talent and equipment is cute--the songs are cute--too much cute can be boring.
This live show has been playing off-Broadway for a number of years--it is a revue of songs touching different subjects such as a Jewish bris, a perky porn star, a nude house maid, showering in the gym and trying not to get an erection, falling in love with the guy across the way, etc.
Each guy gets a solo and there are a few group numbers--the only standout--voice wise, that is--was the actor named Roger. Otherwise NO ONE stands out (for any reason!)
It's short, (the movie! The movie!--and a few other things LOL) lasting about 80 minutes. I understand it will be available on DVD December 3rd but I won't recommend buying it--not even sure if it is worth renting.
I knew what I was getting in to as I had seen the live revue so I wasn't disappointed but I knew the audience would be interesting--and it was!
I have a date Sunday!!! :O)
